ECONOMY

New Milford's small businesses and working families need relief, not more red tape. I want to rewrite our affordable housing laws so we can put empty factories, malls, and other underused buildings back to work as housing, instead of leaving them vacant while people struggle to find a place to live.
I'll fight for more support for our Connecticut farmers so they can keep offering food our neighbors can actually afford. And I want to reward small businesses that treat their customers and employees fairly with real tax breaks and fewer unfunded mandates, because every hour a shop owner spends on paperwork is an hour they're not spending on their business or their family. I'll also push to close the tax loopholes that let the top 1% and large corporations avoid paying their share.
